The dead stop happens when Suno runs out of planned song before it runs out of audio. It's an arrangement problem: your lyrics end but the song structure doesn't know how to land.
1. Always end lyrics with [End]. This is the fix 80% of the time. Without it, Suno doesn't know the last line is the last line.
2. Write an actual ending bracket:
[Final chorus]
[Last line, then clean full stop, no fade]
Tell it HOW to end, not just that it's ending.
3. Don't end on a long word. If your final lyric is 'eternityyyyy,' it gets clipped. End on a short punchy word or an instrumental bracket: [Outro: two bars piano, clean stop].
4. Give it room. End the lyrics one section earlier than you think — leave Suno 10-15 seconds of instrumental space to land the plane. Cramped endings get chopped.
5. If the song is otherwise perfect, don't regenerate — add the ending in an editor: a quick fade, a reverb tail, or a final chord from a Replace Section on the last bar.
