Suno front-loads energy because your style prompt describes the PEAK of the song, and it plays the peak from bar one. Dynamics have to be scripted section by section.
1. Write the intro as its own bracket:
[Intro: solo fingerpicked guitar, sparse, quiet, building slowly]
[Verse 1: adds soft bass]
[Chorus: full band enters, big]
Each section adds ONE element. That's a build-up.
2. Keep peak words out of the global Style. If your style says 'epic massive anthem,' the intro will be epic and massive. Put peak descriptions in the chorus bracket only.
3. Use the magic words: building, growing, swelling, gradually adding layers in the intro/verse brackets; save full, big, massive for the chorus.
4. Start with ONE instrument. Literally name one: [Intro: lone piano, gentle]. Suno can't blast a full band if you only gave it a piano.
5. The outro too: [Outro: strips back down to solo guitar, fading] — bookend the dynamics.
