Sonorix is not AI and does not generate music. It is an engineered prompt tool that sits before your favorite AI music platform. You build Dual Output here — Optimized Lyrics plus a Global Style Prompt — then paste that text into the generator you already use. Precision, control, and a Vault for your best templates.

No. Sonorix is not an AI model and it does not create audio. It is a human-built prompt engine: you pick genre, vocal, instruments, and the rest, we format Dual Output, you paste that text into the music generator you already use. That is not stacking two AIs — Sonorix is engineered rules and catalogs in front of the generator, so you burn fewer credits guessing.

AI music platforms generate the song. Sonorix is not one of them. It is your producer helper that makes their output better. Most platforms give you vague boxes and you burn multiple credits guessing. This is intentional. Sonorix teaches you how to prompt with gray info boxes next to every click, so you get it right the first time.

No. You pick Genre and Vocal from lists, search Mood & Ambiance (up to two tags), and add Instruments, or search a Recipe or an Artist Vocal Profile. Sonorix translates your picks into the exact format your favorite AI music platform understands. If you can pick a style, you can make a pro prompt.

Sonorix is web-first. You use it at sonorixpg.com on your laptop, tablet, or phone browser. You can also Add to Home Screen on your phone — it installs like an app (PWA), full-screen, with an icon, no App Store needed. Works in 30 seconds.

The first step is to pick your AI music platform when you sign up — or later in Settings under Platform Preference. Sonorix then prepares Dual Output specifically for that service — proper bracketing, parentheses, commas, pipes, etc. This is called prompt syntax, meta-tag syntax, or formatting.

Follow these steps:

   Step 1: Type or paste lyrics

   Use [Verse] [Chorus] [Bridge] only to mark the timeline — not genre or the band. The live character count updates as you type and warns at 80%, 90%, and 99% of the platform cap.

   Step 2: Pick Global Style

   Track DNA — Genre, Sub-genre, Mood & Ambiance (search, max two tags), Vocal, Artist Vocal Profile, Instruments, Tempo, Time Signature, Key.

   Step 3: Optimize and paste

   Hit Optimize and paste Optimized Lyrics into the lyrics box and Global Style Prompt into the style box on your favorite AI music platform. Keep those two boxes separate. If you picked exclusions, paste the Exclusion Box into the platform's exclude / negative field. Leave it at None Selected to skip.

Sonorix formats Dual Output for one AI music platform at a time. If you paste into more than one generator, switch before you Optimize so brackets, commas, pipes, and the Exclusion Box match that service.

   Step 1: Open Settings

   Tap Settings in the hamburger menu.

   Platform Preference lives in Settings — pick the generator you will paste into next.

   Step 3: Pick the other platform

   Tap the generator you are about to paste into. Sonorix saves that choice so Dual Output formats for it next time too.

[Verse] [Chorus] [Bridge] [Solo] [Outro] mark the timeline in the lyrics box. You can leave them unnumbered — Optimize labels [Verse 1], [Verse 2], [Chorus 1], [Chorus 2] from top to bottom. (parentheses) are performance notes on a line, like (spoken) or (soft whisper). Between sections, Sonorix adds dynamics and featured cues — [2-Bar Groove Hold], [Fiddle Break], [Direct Hit], [Fade Out] — without restating genre, vocal timbre, or the core band. Those stay in the Global Style Prompt so tags do not clash. Drumville Module writes [Drum Fill], [Break | Drum Fill], or [Drum Solo] on their own lines — that is what actually triggers a drums-only bar. Sound Effects sits next to More in Build-A-Band and writes [Intro | Church Bells Tolling] or [SFX | Rain Falling] plus *tag* lines — start of song or after a numbered verse/chorus, never mid-line.

Use Drumville Module under Instruments. Platforms ignore the words drum fill in the style box unless the lyrics box has a [Drum Fill] or [Drum Solo] tag on its own line. Drum solos live under the red Drum Fill / Solo button (Hard Stop, Band Out, Trading Fours, 4 Bar Hard Stop, 2-Bar Kit Break, Featured Drum Solo, and more). Hard-stop solos use [Band Drop Out - Drums Only], [Drum Solo - 4 Bar Break - All Other Instruments Out], [Break], and [Band Return - Full Band Hit on Downbeat]. Regular solos use [Drums Only], [Drum Solo - 4 Bar Break], [Break], and [Band Return]. Fills use [Drum Fill - 2 Bars - Into Chorus] or [Drum Fill - 2 Bars - Into Verse]. Never put Generic Solo or a pipe character in a drum solo tag — the parser treats pipe as OR and may bring guitars back in. Pro Drummers holds signature drummer fills only. You do not number verses or choruses yourself — we auto-count them from Your Lyrics the same way Optimize does. After you pick a fill or solo, we immediately ask where it goes: Beginning, End, Between Verses and Choruses, After Verse X, After Chorus X. Multi-select is allowed. Preview the tags, or tap Add Drum Fills to Lyrics. Optimize inserts them in Dual Output and writes [Verse 1], [Chorus 1], and so on. Do not exclude guitars for the whole song — the fill bar already says drums only.

Tap Sound Effects next to More... in Build-A-Band. It is not a band instrument. Click any effect — church bells, car honking, cinematic wind, and the rest — and a placement pop-up asks where it plays: beginning, end, throughout, during a verse/chorus/bridge, or between sections. Nothing is added until you tap ADD; CANCEL returns to the list. Beginning writes [Intro - Sound Effect: Church Bells Tolling - At Beginning]. End writes [Outro - Sound Effect: Church Bells Tolling - At End]. Between Verse 1 and Chorus 1 writes [Transition V1 to C1 - Sound Effect: Car Honking - Single]. Place each effect one at a time so bells can sit at the end while a horn hits between Verse 1 and Chorus 1. Cues count on the live character meter. The same tile also opens the Cinematic SFX Library (WIND/MOVEMENT, BODY/PSYCHOLOGICAL, CINEMATIC TRANSITIONS) with the same per-effect placement pop-up.

It is the track's acoustic DNA for the style / tags box: Genre, Sub-genre, Mood & Ambiance, Vocal timbre, Artist Vocal Profile, Instruments, Tempo, Time Signature, Key. Search mood, room acoustics, and vintage production and pick up to two tags so the mix stays one environment. Recipe and Artist Vocal Profile search carry the decade when it matters. Artist Vocal Profiles are clearly defined prompts of the artist's vocal style and timbre — not an emulation of any kind. First choices weigh heaviest. Vocal and instrument effects count toward the live character meter. Do not put [Verse], solos, stops, or per-section arrangement tags here — those belong in Optimized Lyrics. You pick, Sonorix builds the comma list.

Artist Vocal Profiles are clearly defined prompts of the artist's vocal style and timbre. They are not an emulation of any kind. Search 3+ letters in Global Style — e.g., JOH for Johnny Cash, JAN/JOP for Janis-style gritty contralto, SIN for Sinatra-style crooner — and Sonorix writes that vocal description into Dual Output so platforms never see the artist name. The Help? master list shows the live artist count.

There are 454 Artist Vocal Profiles (Personas) in the live catalog — 408 frozen Billboard Hot 100 PDF rows since 1974, plus Elvis and pre-1974 leftover vocal personas. Open Help? next to Artist, Vocal Style, DNA Finder / For Reference Only to see the full A–Z list and live count.

Vault is one personal library. Save and Make Template both store there. Personal Vault and Your Saves sit at the bottom of the page, after Dual Output and the Exclusion Box — Optimize first, then save. Look under Your Saves — the dropdown right under Personal Vault. Each row shows the title plus (song) or (template). There is no separate template vault. Use a template when you want a whole album to sound like the same band. Save every song so you can come back and change it after you have lived with it.

   Step 1: Save every song — looks like Highway Drifter (song)

   Give it a title and tap Save. That stores the entire song: Your Lyrics, Optimized Lyrics, Global Style, the band, vocal, mood, tempo, and exclusions. In Your Saves it is labeled (song). Save every song you generate. After you listen 15 or 20 times you may want a different pick — load the (song), change the selections, and Optimize again. You do not start from a blank page.

   Step 2: Make Template for an album — looks like Dust Bowl Band (template)

   Tap Make Template when you want a continuous album sound — the same band for a ballad, a rocker, a slow rock, or a fast rock. That stores genre, band, vocal, mood, and Global Style, and leaves the lyrics blank. In Your Saves it is labeled (template). Name it after the album. Load it for each new lyric set so the record stays one band.

   Step 3: Open them in Your Saves

   Open the Your Saves dropdown. Songs and templates are mixed in one A–Z list. Pick a (song) to populate the whole session and edit. Pick a (template) to load the album sound and write the next song.

Recipes are pre-built starting points — 289 Style-box Recipes including style prompts and templates. Instead of a blank page, you start from a Recipe like '70s Outlaw Country' or 'Lo-Fi Bedroom Pop' and tweak it. Type a name and press Enter, or tap a row. Solves the cold prompt start scenario.

Never. We have a Zero Silent Deletion Policy. As you build, Sonorix counts Dual Output characters live — lyrics, Global Style, and FX. You get caution warnings at 80%, 90%, and 99% of the platform cap. If you go over, the meter turns Red and Optimize opens a line-by-line Global Style picker so you can remove instruments yourself. We never chop your lyrics without telling you.

If your lyrics are too long for one generation (about 3,000 to 5,000 characters, depending on the platform), Dual Output adds a second Optimized Lyrics box with the second half. Both boxes use the same lyric cues and the same Global Style Prompt. Generate two songs, then combine the pieces in a DAW.

AI music platforms often block famous artist names and you waste valuable generations. If you type 'Johnny Cash' it gets blocked. Artist Vocal Profiles are clearly defined prompts of the artist's vocal style and timbre — not an emulation of any kind. Sonorix detects Billboard Hot 100 artists (since 1974) plus pre-1974 leftover vocal personas and writes that description — Johnny Cash becomes 'Deep resonant bass-baritone vocals dry earthy cadence steady authoritative boom-chicka delivery' — so Dual Output never pastes the name.

Three panes, three jobs. Keeping them separated prevents token bloat and tag clashes. If lyrics run long, a second Optimized Lyrics box appears for the second half — same Global Style Prompt for both. The Exclusion Box is optional and defaults to None Selected.

   Optimized Lyrics is the cue sheet: section tags, featured solos, harmony shifts, stops and fades.

   Step 2: Copy Global Style Prompt

   Global Style Prompt is the mix DNA: genre, vocal, band, mood, tempo.

   Step 3: Copy Exclusion Box if you used it

   Exclusion Box is what NOT to include — only sounds AI platforms sneak in (drums, bass, piano, guitar, synths, backing vocals). Type a few plain descriptors yourself (drums, choir, reverb) — skip minus signs and the word no. Two to four key targets work best. Leave it at None Selected to let the AI decide.

   Step 4: Paste into matching boxes

   Copy each into the matching box on your favorite AI music platform. Paste exclusions into the exclude / negative field when your platform has one.

It is Dual Output's optional third pane: what NOT to include. Default is None Selected — leave it empty and the AI decides. Click one of the seven auto-add primaries (Drums / Percussion, Bass, Piano / Keys, Guitar, Synths, Background Vocals, Synth Strings / Pads) and the secondary choices fill the box. Banjo sits under Guitar. Ad Lib Blocker sits in the Vocal Booth next to Select None and Acapella Blocker — tap it to inject the humming / wordless-intro blocklist into this field, Hard Start on the first three lyric words, and a required closer on Global Style. Rap / Hip-Hop also blocks whoop / yeah / huh spellings. Pure Rap adds Singing, Melodic Vocals. There is no Stop Humming toggle above Your Lyrics. Back to main selections returns you to those seven. Picked chips sit below the selector, directly above the compiled exclude text, so you can tap × to remove them. Write plain keywords (drums, choir, reverb). Skip minus signs and the word no. Three to six focused tags work best for category picks. Copy the box into your platform's exclude / negative field. Pair each exclusion with a positive replacement in Global Style. The gray acoustic example is not selected. The ? icon opens the full explainer — no keyword dataset.

   Step 1: Leave it empty unless you have a target

   None Selected is the default. No error if you skip it.

   Step 2: Open a category, then pick 3–6 keywords

   Secondary choices take over the selector. Example: backing vocals, choir, harmonies — not the lead vocal. Ad Lib Blocker is in the Vocal Booth next to Select None and Acapella Blocker — it writes the full exclude blocklist, Hard Start, and the Global Style closer.

   Step 3: Watch the counter

   Amber means you may be over-prompting. Red means high density can thin or distort the mix. Stay with your top 3–5 unwanted elements.

   Step 4: Paste and pair

   Copy into the exclude / negative field. Put the replacement sound in Global Style (exclude drums, specify upright bass holding tempo).

   Optimize only formats Dual Output in your browser and uses a token. It does not write Your Lyrics or Optimized Lyrics to our servers.

   Step 2: Save stores the whole song

   Tap Save in Personal Vault and we keep the entire session in your private Vault: lyrics, Optimized Lyrics, Global Style, instruments, and the other picks. In Your Saves it is labeled (song). Signed in, that Vault follows your account. It is not searchable by other users.

   Step 3: Make Template stores settings only

   Tap Make Template to reuse the sound — band, vocal, genre, mood, Global Style — without storing the lyric set. It lands in the same Your Saves list, labeled (template).

   Step 4: Leave without Save and they are gone

   If you never tap Save, close the tab or leave the site and Sonorix does not keep that lyric set. Do not paste lyrics into Community if you want them private.

Every field in Sonorix has a gray info box. Tap or hover the blue Information link and it tells you what to do next based on what you selected. Example: Next to style input: 'Pick Genre first, then Mood — first choices weigh heaviest.' The separate Help? link on many fields opens the full help page and master list for that field.

The Help? link at the top right of a field opens the deep-dive help. Those lists are the Sonorix team's compiled research. They are reference lists, not clickable catalogs. Recipes, Artist Vocal Profiles, Genres, Moods, Ambiances, Vocals, Instruments, Effects, Exclusion Box chips, Sound Effects, Drum Fill styles, and Robot layers each open a complete A–Z master list with a live count. Sound Effects sits next to More and opens its own picker plus that master list. Ad Lib Blocker is in the Vocal Booth next to Select None and Acapella Blocker. Robot stays in the Vocal Booth grid with Choir and Advanced Vocals and opens the vocoder mixer.

Use Copy Prompt / Share Recipe. It copies with watermark Created by SonoRix. When you post a banger on YouTube, TikTok/X, others ask how you did it, you reply I used Sonorix.

No. Signed-in Vault follows your account so you can open a Save on another phone. Lyrics go into that Vault only when you tap Save — not when you Optimize. Tokens also live on the account. See Does Sonorix save my lyrics?
