Suno auto-generates titles from your lyrics — usually the catchiest line it finds. It's metadata, not magic, and you're not stuck with it.
1. Rename in your library. Click the song → rename option → type your title. Takes five seconds and it's the actual fix. The auto-title is just a placeholder.
2. Steer the auto-title: it usually pulls from the chorus or a repeated hook. If your hook is strong and clear, the auto-title is often decent. A muddy chorus = a weird title.
3. Titles don't affect the song. Nothing in the generation reads the title — it's purely organizational. Don't burn credits regenerating because the title was wrong; just rename.
4. Organize as you go. Rename + playlist your keepers immediately. A library of 'Untitled Melody 47' is where good songs go to die — future you won't find anything.
5. For releases: set the title at the distributor (DistroKid, TuneCore), not in Suno. The distributor title is what Spotify shows — Suno's internal name never leaves your library.
