Two problems, two fixes — voice drift and vocal level.
Keeping the same singer locked:
1. Describe her once, specifically, in the Style box. Not 'female vocal' — that's ten different singers. warm breathy female vocalist, alto range, intimate — one specific singer. The more specific, the less drift.
2. Repeat the descriptor in section brackets. [Verse 2: same warm breathy vocalist] — reminds the model mid-song. Drift happens most in later sections, so anchor verse 2, the bridge, and the final chorus.
3. Generate the vocal in one pass when possible. Every Extend or Replace Section is a chance for the voice to shift. Fewer pieces = more consistent singer.
Getting her louder and forward:
1. 'Forward' beats 'louder': lead vocal forward, upfront in mix, prominent — 'forward' and 'upfront' are mix-position words Suno understands better than 'loud.'
2. Thin the competition. If the prompt lists five loud instruments, the vocal fights all of them. Name fewer, quieter backing elements: soft piano, gentle strings leaves room for the voice.
3. Stems (exact control): ... > Get Stems, raise the vocal stem 2-3dB. Done in a minute, no prompting roulette.
