Don't panic — claims are routine, and most are resolvable. Work the steps:
1. Read the claim. WHO claimed it and WHAT asset? A claim from your own distributor on your own upload is common — that's just your distributor collecting your revenue. Whitelist your channel with them and it stops.
2. If it's YOUR original song made on a commercial tier, dispute the claim: state it's your original work, you hold the commercial rights, and include your distributor/ISRC as evidence. False claims get released.
3. If two AI songs sound alike, it happens — melodies can coincide, especially in simple genres. Dispute with your creation evidence (generation date, project files). Coincidence isn't infringement.
4. If the claim is on a COVER you released, that's expected — the publisher gets the ad revenue. Don't dispute those; you agreed to it with the license.
5. Prevention: distribute the song FIRST, then upload to YouTube. Your distributor's claim lands first and blocks the copycats.
