Both of these are Suno filling silence with its best guess — clicks at the start, endless sustain at the end. Two small fixes handle both.
The count-in clicks:
1. Exclude them: metronome, count-in, clicks, ticking in the Exclude field. This kills it 90% of the time.
2. Give the intro a job. A bare intro with nothing specified gets clicks. [Intro: soft piano, gentle, no percussion] leaves no empty space for the metronome to move into.
The endless final note:
1. End your lyrics with [End]. Not [Outro] — [Outro] tells Suno to keep playing softly. [End] tells it to stop. This is the single most effective ending fix.
2. Describe the ending: [Final bar, clean stop, no ring-out, no fade] as your last bracket. Explicit beats hopeful.
3. Already have a great song with a 10-second ring? Don't regenerate — trim it. Open in any editor and cut the tail, or add a quick fade in the last 2 seconds. Thirty seconds of editing beats thirty generations.
